You don't need to know anything about money for us to work together - that's exactly why I am here. Together we will start with the basics: Understanding your income and spending, building simple habits, and setting realistic tailor made goals. We can work out how money can be saved and invested. At this stage investing may sound risky and complicated but I can help you understand the realities. We can ensure you are never you are worried about money again and guide you to a prosperous future. We can keep it as simple as you like or go into as much detail as you want.
This is a fantastic stage to start your journey. With so much information available, it’s easy to feel confused or unsure about the right steps. Working together, we can reveal any misunderstandings, fill in gaps in your knowledge, and explore future options that suit your goals. Having someone to talk to about your finances provides clarity, reassurance, and confidence in the decisions you make—helping you take control and move steadily toward financial freedom.
Money can be one of the trickiest aspects of any relationship. Conversations can easily lead to frustration or leave one partner feeling unheard. I can work with you individually or as a couple to help understand each other’s perspectives, clarify shared goals, and identify priorities. Together, we will find solutions that are fair, balanced, and mutually agreed—helping you reduce tension, improve communication, and make confident financial decisions as a team. See Couples Alignment for more information.
Ronald Reed, a gas station attendant and janitor, saved a small portion of his income and invested consistently over decades. By the time he passed away at 92, he had amassed nearly $8 million, proving that disciplined saving and investing can grow wealth—no matter how modest your earnings.
Even if you’re in your 50s, you likely have decades ahead to invest. Starting now allows you to take advantage of growth and compounding in the market, and even small, consistent steps can make a meaningful impact on your future financial security.
It they are willing to meet and you are happy to cover the cost of the session, I’m here to help. I can teach them the fundamentals, guide them in setting goals, and help them develop good money habits that will last a lifetime.
I work as an educator and coach, helping you understand your finances, set your own goals, and take practical steps to achieve them. I will explain the benefits of different options and always allow you to come to your own conclusions.
There are many effective financial products available online today without the need for an intermediary. For most people, a financial coach or money mentor is enough to make a real difference in their lives. The process I follow is very similar to that of a financial advisor, but the final decisions are left for you to make once you have all the necessary information. Throughout the process, nothing is complicated, and by the end, you will feel confident that whatever choice you make is the best one for you.

I am not regulated by the financial conduct authority. Any guidance given is purely for educational reasons and all decisions are made by yourself, for yourself.
I am based in Rowstock, OX11 0JU, and host sessions in a private office within a family home. This provides a quiet, comfortable environment where we can focus fully on your finances without distractions. We can discuss freely with 100% confidentiality.
I believe in keeping things simple and flexible. We can work together for as long as you need, but a typical approach might include a few initial hours to cover the fundamentals, a months rest to reflect, and a final session to put your plans into place.
Working on an hourly basis rather than fixed packages allows us to focus on your needs and move at a pace that suits you. My goal is to give you the guidance and support you want, without unnecessary complexity. See Pricing for more information.
I’m a strong believer in value for money and aim to give you as much as possible during our sessions. To make our time as productive as possible, I can send a few simple forms for you to complete before we meet. This helps us focus on the areas that matter most to you and ensures our sessions are practical, efficient, and tailored to your goals.
I strongly prefer meeting face-to-face, as I find it creates a more human and engaging experience. While follow-up sessions can certainly be done over the phone / internet if needed, I believe that in-person meetings are the most effective way to build understanding, trust, and clarity. I can come to you, meet in a public place such as a café or you are welcome to come to my home office where we will have privacy.
Part of this process is about being honest with yourself about your finances. Everything you share with me is completely confidential, and being open will help you get the most benefit from our time together. You are never required to disclose anything you’re uncomfortable with, but keep in mind that the more transparent you are, the more effective and productive our sessions can be.
I will guide you through the options available and explain how to act on your decisions. While I won’t directly manage these steps for you, you’ll finish the process feeling confident and clear about how to put your plans into action.
I’m an educator, so I’m not able to make financial decisions on your behalf. What I can do is provide guidance that is as brief or as detailed as you need, explaining the benefits and risks of various options without getting lost in unnecessary complexities. My approach is completely personalised—if a particular topic doesn’t interest you, we simply move on. Many people start out indifferent to money, but with a little knowledge, it’s often possible to spark interest.
My services are completely tailored to your needs. Bringing your partner can be very helpful, especially if we’re following the Structured Guidance, as it allows both of you to align your goals and priorities from the start. Even if it’s a single session or part of the Couples Alignment service, having your partner present can make discussions easier and more productive.
Please believe me that this is neither complicated or time consuming. We can automate the majority of the work and there will be little need for intervention once we have put everything in place.
